How I work

The consumer comes first for me - before the strategy, before the platform, before a single word of messaging gets written. Everything else is built around who they are.

This has run across education, government, and consumer brands - British Council, a communication framework for a Ministry of External Affairs programme, a UNICEF-backed public health push in Uttar Pradesh, and consumer brands from Dr. Lal PathLabs and Videocon Mobiles early on to White Swan Appliances more recently. The audience was different every time. What didn’t change was where I started - not the strategy, not the platform, not the messaging. Consumer first, always. That’s still how I work now, as Strategy & Communication Lead at Brand Innovation, based in Dehradun. Open to what’s next.

Four questions, in this order. Answer them out of order and you get a campaign that sounds right and lands nowhere. {{ fw.step }}

Where AI sits

AI is part of how that discipline gets executed now - research, exploration, drafting, and iteration all move faster with it. What doesn’t change is who makes the call: audience understanding, business context, and the final judgement stay mine.
